About Foss Jewelers

Since 1949, Foss Jewelers has been serving friends and customers all across the central Pennsylvania region with affordable, high-quality jewelry backed with unsurpassed customer service.

Paul Foss started with one small showcase and a dream. The tradition of excellence continues with Paul’s oldest grandson, Dan Foss at 888 Route 522 in Selinsgrove. James Foss, the oldest son of Paul and a master watchmaker, operated a Foss Jewelers in Lewisburg from 1968 until its closing and his retirement in 1997.

Dan the oldest son of James Foss and 3rd generation to the Foss legacy is a 1984 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He grew up in the jewelry business, working closely with Paul Foss and his dad James. His training included jewelry repair and fabrication of gold and platinum plus setting of colored stones and diamonds. In 1985, Dan earned his Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America (then located in Santa Monica, California). Upon graduation, Dan worked under Paul Foss at Foss Jewelers in Lewistown, PA until 1992 when a Foss Jewelers was opened at the Susquehanna Valley Mall, Selinsgrove. In 2008 the store was moved to a beautiful location in Selinsgrove.

Dan Foss, now sole proprietor of Foss Jewelers, continues to thrive with the help of his loving wife Wendy, two children, and a committed and dedicated staff.
